How a Treatment Journey Inspired Action

I love so many of our products but Mother of All Creams lotion and spa socks helped me so much through breast cancer treatment.  I love smelly lotions but had to replace everything per my doctors–too many chemicals–and Mother of All Creams is an organic combination of what they call “skin superfoods” and I would put some on my feet, especially at night and then put the socks on and when I woke up, my feet were as smooth as silk.  Walking barefoot (which I love to do) is a big no-no during treatment because cracks can cause infection easily during treatment.  But day and night, this cream worked fast and beautifully.  I love it and still use it.

As both a caregiver for cancer warriors and a two-time cancer patient, I have learned a great deal. It’s hard to pick just one thing. I love the pajamas for any treatment. The button front makes it easy to access central lines and drains. In a hospital stay, throwing on a fresh pair of soft button-up pjs made me feel more like normal. Plus the Bald and Beautiful kit.  The lint rollers for hair loss - genius, the scalp oil (because bald heads in treatment get dry and irritated), and the cozy hat (because a bald head is a cold head). The packaging is like a superpower of encouragement and hope.

As a caregiver for a long-term cancer patient (my husband) I had a slightly different take on our products.  My favorite is the Woolzie’s “Sleep Set” of essential oils, because the soft, natural scents help quiet my nerves at the end of a long day.   I also use the Hydration Drops to help keep my body hydrated when schedules were tight and there was a lot on my plate.  Caregiving has its own set of challenges and CaraKit's natural, calming products can help caregivers as well as loved ones in treatment.
