Why Are We Called CaraKit?
The best advice we received during treatment came from those who had experienced it before us—they knew not only what to say but how to say it. We are here because we pay close attention to the details of treatment, celebrate everyone undergoing it, and honor those who care for them. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has shared their story and wisdom with us and endeavor to share it with you, too.

How CaraKit Started
It all started when a working mom of two young children was diagnosed with breast cancer at 44. While she was fortunate to have a supportive network of friends and family, none knew how best to help. After enduring chemotherapy, three surgeries, 30 rounds of radiation, and a brain metastasis four years later, she realized her newfound knowledge could help other women facing similar challenges.
Together with a caregiver friend, she founded CaraKit.
Today, with a passionate and talented team, CaraKit has provided thousands of kits to those in need. Operating out of Los Angeles, each kit is infused with care, comfort, and hope.
Our Values & Priorities
We Are Committed
At CaraKit, we have a personal stake in this fight, and that fuels our passion for what we do. We proudly stand behind our core values, which represent our promise to you. We follow this every day.
Belief in Modern Medicine
We trust and respect the guidance of doctors, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, nutritionists, physical therapists and other health professionals. Much of our advice and many product suggestions are based on their expert recommendations, which have helped us thrive. See your doctors first with any questions.
Commitment to Product Curation
Every item in our boxes is carefully hand-selected based on input from women undergoing treatment. While not every product works for everyone, we encourage you to try them, consult your doctors if you have any concerns, and reach out to us at support@carakit.com if you find a product you love.
Variety of Pricing Options
We understand that high-quality products can be costly. That’s why we offer group purchasing options and installment plans to help reduce the cost of our larger, all-inclusive kits. We also provide smaller pairing kits for more specific needs, all priced under $50. We guarantee that each product collection, beautifully packaged with individual “how-to” cards, is more affordable than purchasing the items separately.

I love so many of our products but Mother of All Creams lotion and spa socks helped me so much through breast cancer treatment. I love smelly lotions but had to replace everything per my doctors–too many chemicals–and Mother of All Creams is an organic combination of what they call “skin superfoods” and I would put some on my feet, especially at night and then put the socks on and when I woke up, my feet were as smooth as silk. Walking barefoot (which I love to do) is a big no-no during treatment because cracks can cause infection easily during treatment. But day and night, this cream worked fast and beautifully. I love it and still use it.

As both a caregiver for cancer warriors and a two-time cancer patient, I have learned a great deal. It’s hard to pick just one thing. I love the pajamas for any treatment. The button front makes it easy to access central lines and drains. In a hospital stay, throwing on a fresh pair of soft button-up pjs made me feel more like normal. Plus the Bald and Beautiful kit. The lint rollers for hair loss - genius, the scalp oil (because bald heads in treatment get dry and irritated), and the cozy hat (because a bald head is a cold head). The packaging is like a superpower of encouragement and hope.

As a caregiver for a long-term cancer patient (my husband) I had a slightly different take on our products. My favorite is the Woolzie’s “Sleep Set” of essential oils, because the soft, natural scents help quiet my nerves at the end of a long day. I also use the Hydration Drops to help keep my body hydrated when schedules were tight and there was a lot on my plate. Caregiving has its own set of challenges and CaraKit's natural, calming products can help caregivers as well as loved ones in treatment.
